A Bullet For My Valentine?

Soooooooo... Valentines Day is coming up. I'm not sure what my plans will be for that day. Mmmhhh.... Nope. Still don't know.
My college classes have been pretty good so far. Since I'm majoring in Drama and minoring in Creative Writing, I'm taking a lot of dramatic classes. Stagecraft, Stage movement, Text analysis, Theater Symposium, and English 102. .... *sighs*
Man, I've got nothing to really say. This month so far has been pretty hectic. If any of you have heard of Officer Green on the news and how he had been stabbed in the neck while transporting a criminal to the police station, than you should know that Officer Green's death has affected me. I work at the store that the man Green had arrested, tried to rob. He had set the area near my register on fire (luckily I wasn't due to come in for work until three hours later) and Officer Green was in the store, off duty, and saw what was going on and put a stop to it. I am extremely grateful for what he did.
Then on Tuesday, my mom and her friend were out for their daily jog. They usually jog at 6:00 am. These two big dogs in our neighbor hood were with them and started playing together. As my mom and her friend were passing a neighbor's house (we'll call him Mr. Smith), his Saint Bernard started barking at the two dogs which woke up Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith is known in our neighbor hood to have serious anger issues. Mr. Smith came outside with a hand gun and aimed it at one of the big dogs. The dog was standing directly in front of my mom! Mr. Smith said, "Is that your dog?"
Since it was still kinda dark outside, my mom and her friend couldn't tell her was holding a gun. My mom answered him, "No, it's not."
"Then you better get out of the way, cause I'm gonna shoot him!"
That's when my mom and her friend realized Mr. Smith had a gun and they screamed. The dog ran off and Mr. Smith took a shot at him, but missed. Mr. Smith said he was sick and tired of being woken up every morning by his dog barking at the other dogs and that he was going to go out and buy some sprinklers and turn them on whenever my mom and her friend would pass his house.
Mr. Smith was being utterly ridiculous! He said the two dogs shouldn't be out roaming when the neighbor hood was filled with small kids. HELLO! He just shot a gun during the time when kids were going to be walking outside to their bus stop! In fact, when he had missed the dog, he'd ended up hitting something in a neighbor's front yard. That neighbor has a little girl!
My mom called the cops and when they arrived, Mr. Smith acted like a sane man and the cops hardly said anything to him! Unbelievable!
